Loudoun County’s First Cannabidiol (CBD) Store Opens

Cannabis Virginia

On January 25, District Hemp Botanicals opened in Leesburg. The hemp-based CBD store is the second location for owner Barbara Biddle. The first store is located in Manassas.

There variety of hemp products ranges from hemp oil to hemp-infused dog treats, according to the Loudoun Times.  She also carries CBD vape, creams and bath items. Customers can purchase items in the store or online.

Biddle said, “I’m focused on educating people on what CBD and hemp can do. Many people don’t know about it. There are still too many misconceptions.”

She also said, “Opening District Hemp at this important time in hemp and cannabis policy reform and being embraced by the community has been a wonderful experience. A lot of people were wary of CBD and hemp products. I like to think that our friendly staff provides information and education to help Virginians from near and far better understand how hemp-derived CBD can be used as part of a healthy lifestyle.”
